Bryson DeChambeau Finally Admits Tiger Woods’ Behavior Was Insane

Bryson DeChambeau opens up about Tiger Woods' intense mindset and a moment in the Bahamas that left him taken aback. Here is the truth.

The Motor City Golf Club just landed a massive piece of the puzzle. Jackson Koivually joining Brooks Koepka for the 2027 TGL season changes the entire vibe for Detroit’s new franchise. It isn’t just about adding a name to a roster. It is about pairing a five-time major champion with a kid who plays like a seasoned vet.

Koivun is only 21, but the resume is already heavy. He won his first PGA Tour event at the 3M Open in July during just his third professional start, per Yahoo Sports. That kind of rapid success doesn’t happen every day. He followed that up with an undefeated 2-0-1 record at the Presidents Cup. That performance showed he can handle the pressure when the lights are brightest.

The perfect team dynamic

This isn’t a random signing. Motor City Golf Club team governor Michael Hamp thinks the kid is ready for the big stage. “Jackson showed at the Presidents Cup that he is built for the big moments,” Hamp said, according to GolfMagic. He also noted that the player’s grit and energy fit the vision for the club.

Koivun brings a lot of team experience to the arena. He won two NCAA titles at Auburn and has played in the Walker Cup and the Arnold Palmer Cup. He clearly enjoys the team format. “Some of my best experiences have come while playing team golf, from winning national championships at Auburn to representing the U.S. at the Presidents Cup,” Koivun said, per Yahoo Sports.

A bright future for Detroit

The TGL needs stars to make this indoor experiment work. Koivun fits the bill perfectly. He loves the idea of the arena atmosphere and the chance to reach new fans. He even mentioned he is excited to compete in a new environment alongside Brooks.

The foundation is looking solid for the 2027 season. The club has a mix of major championship pedigree and fresh talent. Koivun’s rise has been nothing short of extraordinary since he turned professional in June.
