Bryson DeChambeau Finally Admits Tiger Woods’ Behavior Was Insane

Bryson DeChambeau opens up about Tiger Woods' intense mindset and a moment in the Bahamas that left him taken aback. Here is the truth.

A Historic Shot on the Course

Blades Brown did not just play well on Friday. He rewrote the history books in real time. After sitting one under par through eight holes, the 19-year-old turned on the jets. He fired back-to-back eagles on holes nine and 10. Then he closed with five straight birdies to card a 10-under 61. Per Yahoo Sports, this score gave him the outright lead at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. He now sits at 13 under total, one shot ahead of Austin Hitt.

The stakes could not be higher. 2027 PGA Tour cards go to the top 20 finishers in the season-long points race. Thirteen golfers have already reached that mark. Brown started the week as the highest-ranked player without a card. His 61 vaulted him to fourth in the standings after 36 holes. If he holds this form, he will become the youngest golfer to earn status via the Korn Ferry Tour. Jason Day held the record for decades at 19 years, 11 months. Brown is just 19 years, 4 months, and 22 days old.

An Uncommon Path to the Top

Most players take the long road through college and amateur events. Brown took a different path entirely. At the end of 2024, he surprised many by turning pro at age 17. He did not wait for a degree or a traditional season. Earlier this year, the spotlight found him through his play at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Special Temporary Membership on the PGA Tour was secured by that tie for 14th place. He spent the rest of 2026 chasing points on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Brown credits his family for this unique journey. “I know my route to the PGA Tour is a very uncommon route,” Brown said. He pointed to his parents as his biggest supporters. His father missed only about two events in his entire life. That level of commitment allowed Brown to believe in himself when others doubted him. His rapid rise proves that age is just a number if the talent is real. The tour has seen young guns before, but few have moved this fast.

The Pressure of the Final Stretch

The weekend rounds will test his nerves like never before. He has the lead, but the field is hungry. Austin Hitt shot a 62 to stay close. The pressure to avoid a disaster is high. One bad hole can cost the card he has chased all year. Brown knows the competition is fierce. He admitted to the stress of watching others play well. “You know, watching Ben shoot 29 on the front, I thought I played amazing on the front and lost to him,” Brown said. He noted that Ben Kohles played unbelievable and nearly shot 59 or 58.

Now Brown faces his own challenge. He must keep his game steady while the world watches. The Korn Ferry Tour Championship is the final gate. Only the best get through. Brown has shown he can be the best. The question is whether he can stay that way for two more days.
